The mixer of Experts(MOE) -- Modern architecture for divide and concur learning

#artificialintelligence

In this article, we will discuss what is the Mixer of Experts (MOE) architecture, the Internal workings of the MOE model, and how it differs from the existing model architectures. The Mixer of Experts is an ensemble approach where the whole problem is divided into multiple sub-tasks and will train a cluster of experts on each subtask. MOE model will cover different input data with different learners(experts). MOE architecture basically consists of two main components. The Mixer of the Expert layer consists of a set of experts which are trained to be experts in specific sub-tasks.

Digital transformation is changing banking from the inside out

MIT Technology Review

Companies across all industries are faced with the urgent need to transform the way they do business, including financial services, but changes abound with governance, security, and culture. A shift in mindset and perspective away from "the way things have always been done" is key to a successful digital transformation and to providing the frictionless customer experience banks and other financial services businesses strive to offer. To stay competitive in the wide-ranging fintech landscape, says Michael Ruttledge, chief information officer and head of technology services at Citizens Financial Group, banks need to become more agile and embrace new technologies. He described the five pillars he has used to guide digital transformations at financial institutions: "The first pillar is moving to agile. Second is moving to a more modern architecture. Third is doubling down on the engineering talent at the bank, and fourth is being more efficient and transforming the technology cost structure. Finally, the fifth pillar is maniacally focusing on security and availability." We're trying to make it frictionless for our customers--for instance, we don't want it to take a long time for them to open an account because of the amount of information they have to enter.

Kong Launches Artificial Intelligence-Powered Kong Brain and Kong Immunity

#artificialintelligence

Kong Inc., the leading API platform for modern architectures, today launched Kong Brain and Kong Immunity for its Kong Enterprise API platform. Powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, the new, advanced features will help automate the entire API and service development lifecycle from pre-production to post-production to provide organizations with an intelligent, end-to-end API solution. By automating processes including documentation, configuration and traffic analysis, Kong Brain and Kong Immunity will help organizations improve efficiency, accuracy and security. Kong Brain leverages the latest in AI technology to automate API and service documentation by collecting data from a user's existing platform and auto-generating documentation based on the data, which is then pushed back into the Kong platform and auto-configured. In the case of any code changes, it auto-generates updated documentation and pushes it back into Kong, creating a continuous feedback loop.
